Main business activity of I.D.C. LOLLY, s.r.o., located in Cifer, 8 km from Trnava, is production and sale of chocolate mass and coating, molded chocolate Easter and Christmas figures as well as muesli products and bars manufactured from extruded cereals for the parent company.
This company was founded and registered in the Commercial Register of Slovak republic in July 1996 under the name of Groser, s.r.o. Company annual turnover is about 10 million EUR.
In 1997 it changed its name to I.D.C. LOLLY, s.r.o. and its registered office moved to Cifer. Since 1998 is I.D.C. Holding, a.s. the sole owner of the company after the acquisition of shares from former company partners and founders.
Substantial changes of its former production orientation i.e. production of semi-products (coatings and chocolate) became effective at the end of the year 2001.
Year 2001 was for IDC LOLLY, s.r.o. a breaking year in terms of company’s economy thanks to investments to production facilities for production of chocolate masses and coatings. The end of the year 2001 was at the same time influenced by preparations for production of new article – cereal bars with trade name “EGO”. In compliance with strategic plan of the parent company I.D.C. Holding, a.s. a reconstruction of production area was carried out in the year 2003 and a new technology for production of chocolate molded figures was installed.
Some investments in renovation of production facilities and plant production areas are made subsequently almost every year.
I.D.C. LOLLY, s.r.o. introduced a work system according to ISO 9001:2000 standards and there are some works going on at present focused on introduction of work system according to international food standards IFS.
I.D.C. LOLLY, s.r.o. employs approximately 136 citizens of Cifer and surrounded villages throughout the whole year.
