I.D.C. Holding, a.s.

  I.D.C. Holding, a.s. is the largest Slovak producer of confectionary and pastry products with annual production and sale exceeding 30.000,00 tons of products and with annual turnover more than 83 million EUR.  Company history is based on more than 100 years tradition of production in plant of Figaro Trnava , and on more than 50 years tradition of pastry products manufacture in plant of Pečivárne Sereď.

Modern history of our company stretches back to 1992 when I.D.C., s.r.o. was founded in Prague. In the same year has this company privatized plant of Pečivárne Sereď and next in the year 1993 also the national enterprise of Figaro Trnava. In 1997 was I.D.C., s.r.o. transformed to a joint-stock company. Company business activities were centralized at that time under branch company of o.z. Obchod. In the second part of the 90’s of the last century the company began to focus its clear business strategy on markets of the V4 (Visegrad) countries, on strengthening of product portfolio with respect to development of individual markets, on investments to growing market segments, on increasing quality of products and  labour productivity.

I.D.C. Holding, a.s. carries out its business activities in an environment of heavy competition. Its competitors are the world largest food companies. I.D.C. Holding, a.s. obtained quality certificates in compliance with international standards and strengthened its ability to fulfill customer requirements by providing safe foodstuffs, in all aspects complying with the EU legislation requirements for quality and food safety.

Branch companies of I.D.C. Holding, a.s. produce popular products. They use traditional recipes and the most modern facilities with regard to all quality requirements within their manufacture process. Certainly the best-known products are Horalky, Tatranky, Mila, Mäta, Lina, Kávenky, Kakaové rezy. The most favourite confectionary products of the branch company o. z. Figaro Trnava are definitely the menthol caramels Snehulky, whole range of functional candies under the brand of Verbena, lollipops, jelly bonbons and bananas with chocolate coating. Manufacturing branch I.D.C. LOLLY, s.r.o. is a subsidiary with strong portfolio of seasonal Easter and Christmas products. Company has built business companies with complete business team, logistics and marketing in Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary.
